Maintains expert technical and sales knowledge to relate SWG offerings for the HCLS Industry. Maintains expert knowledge of the management and/or sales techniques associated with the HCLS industry, along with the use of appropriate tools. Develops and implements new techniques and tools. Mentors less experienced sales specialists within and outside their industry specialty, and other professionals. Recognized as an expert on the competition -- the companies, their products / services, strategies, and directions. Effectively differentiates IBM industry offerings from competitive alternatives, and IBM from competitors, and creates customer preference. Is a primary source of competitive knowledge within AP, for SWG offerings in HCLS. Based on own knowledge of future trends, anticipates, creates and defines innovative and visionary industry solutions for leading edge or critical customer business requirements. Solutions address the most strategic requirements of the customer. Exhibits teamwork at the highest levels of IBM and customer management in developing and selling SWG industry solutions. Plans and conducts complex negotiations, reaching lasting agreements and commitments with team members or customers, in any activities relating to industry offerings. Plans and leads negotiations with the highest levels of customer management, for the acquisition of leading edge, total solutions. Anticipates direction of future industry offerings and the I/T industry, and assesses opportunities, impacts, and risks of the new offerings on current and new customers. Represents complex / difficult issues and requirements to executives throughout IBM. Measured and held accountable for SWG revenue in HCLS across AP Job Requirement: Recognized as an expert by customer executives within the geography and within the HCLS industry. Seasoned player with good business judgement and who can hold the ground in challenging situations. Last 2 years holding a P&L responsibility with a reputed IT Services company. Prior Experience of 3-5 years in project management and also understanding of development projects to some extent Good understanding of project tools, project delivery, staffing, bench management Good balance of Leadership, Technical, Business Development and Communication skills Presence, negotiation and soft skills to liaison with senior execs and clients Good understanding of IBM software stack and IBM organization (Sectors, GBS, GTS, SWG) preferred Proficient in using Powerpoint and Excel Required * Bachelor's Degree * At least 5 years experience in Project management * At least 5 years experience in Sales leader in a reputed IT Services company * English: Fluent IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be cold calling into prospective companies our clients are looking to do business with. Your objective is to find the decision maker within those companies to get them on the phone and secure face-to-face meetings for our clients. The average ISE makes about 150 outbound calls per day, scheduling 8 - 10 conference calls/meetings per week. As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be increasing our client's sales pipeline through demand generation. You will be contacting all of their targeted prospects and introducing the values and benefits of our client's products. Throughout your conversations with these high-level decision makers, your challenge will be to both manage and overcome all of their objections so you can turn their apprehensions into a peaked interest, and ultimately, a scheduled meeting with our client. Because you are at the mercy of our client's field sales representatives, it is imperative that you build and establish an excellent working relationship with them to ensure your success, as well as theirs.
