Position Summary As the Human Resources Manager, reporting to the Director, India Design Center and with a dotted line relationship with the VP of HR located in Ottawa, Canada, you will manage human resources operations in Hyderabad, India facility to provide value-added support services to meet business and employee needs. You will direct, manage and coordinate all aspects of human resources activities in the Hyderabad office: recruitment, compensation and benefits, training & development, employee relations, performance management, compliance and communications. Responsibilities - Interpret company goals into departmental goals and ensure communication to employees - Design and implement programs to attract, retain, motivate and develop the human assets of the HYD location - Develop and ensure implementation of the human resource plan, policies and procedures that support organizational values and objectives - Create progressive staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the company - Develop progressive and proactive competitive compensation, benefits and reward programs - Dive and support the HYD Performance Management and Development Process (PMDP) - Drive talent management initiatives such as training and development and high potential identification - Ensure awareness of and advice to organization on statutory or regulatory requirements in all areas of staff management - Direct the development and communication of advanced human resources policies and procedures to support the business and ensure legislative compliance - Ensure pro-active employee relations strategies and activities providing counsel and guidance to both managers and employees - Facilitate and ensure individual and team roles and responsibilities are understood; performance measurement objectives are identified, measured and monitored in order to provide positive feedback on accomplishments; and ensure immediate action on development areas - Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets - Coordinate the activities and programs of the HYD location in concert with other human resources departments Requirements - Post secondary degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with a completed professional HR designation or one in progress - 8-10 years of progressive human resources leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management position - International experience in a high technology environment is essential; (semiconductor industry experience would be a definite asset) - Superior interpersonal and consultative skills - Strategic thinker and problem solver, with strong analytical skills - Flexible, adaptable and forward thinking - Strong team player with proven team leadership skills - Multi-tasker with solid time management and organizational skills - Comfortable with change and ambiguity - Self-starter with bias for action and problem solving - Accomplished written and oral communication, with the ability to actively listen in an exemplary manner - High personal integrity and discretion, comfortable with sensitive, confidential information - Strong service orientation to internal customers - Some travel will be required
